Qualifications

  • Proficient with both video and audio equipment in a studio environment and in the field

  • Working knowledge of a wide arrangement of Adobe software including Premiere, Audition, and Illustrator, along with Avid NewsCutter

  • Great experience working alone or with small groups to accomplish big projects

  • Works well under deadlines and in a fast-paced news environment.

  • Learns very well on the job and is always hungry to learn more about production and broadcasting

  • Editing and uploading videos for broadcast

  • Teleprompter for the morning broadcast from 5:30 am to 7:00 am

  • Shooting, editing, and uploading video for the AGNTV website

Activities and Honors

  • One Sessions – a semester-long project including inviting local bands to the studio to perform live, content edited into a Blue-Ray format and broadcasted on the local PBS station.

  • News One Sports Photographer of the Year Award – presented with the Sports Photographer award for my performance conducting sports interviews as well as shooting and editing the packages at the “End of the Year Awards” for WT

  • Media Business – presented a fictional business plan for a panel of local bankers
